You find him attractive. He finds you attractive.
You start sexting, exchanging pictures, sending him photos of your breasts, your butt, your panties.
Then before you know it, your panties are off and you are showing him everything.
Next thing you know, your pictures have been posted on a site called Is Anybody Down along with your full name and hometown, accompanied by your Facebook profile page just to confirm to any doubters that this is indeed you.
And the site is popular, generating a significant amount of traffic with people leaving all kinds of comments about the state, size and shape of your genitalia, saying things they would never say to you in person.
You are angry. Embarrassed. Mortified. And would do almost anything to get that photo taken down.
That is when you notice a link at the top of the site that reads “Get Me Off This Site!” that states the following once you click on it.
> Hello. Do you need an experienced team that can help remove content from this website or other websites?
> Choose Takedown Hammer.
> We have issued over 90 successful removal requests for this website so far and a total of over 500 removals from various internet websites. We are professionals. If you want content removed, Takedown Hammer is the way to go.
All you need to do is pay him $250 and Takedown Hammer will ensure your photos are removed.
It doesn’t take a genius to realize this is internet extortion at its finest.
And First Amendment attorney and avid porn defender Marc Randazza is on a mission to get the sham shut down, a man who defends pretty much anything on the internet, including Miami-based pornographers Bang Bros.
With a little digging, Randazza discovered that the man behind Takedown Hammer, who claims to be a New York-based attorney named David Blade, is most likely the same man who runs Is Anybody Down, a self-described “gonzo journalist” named Craig Brittain, who is pictured above in what he says is an outdated My Space photo.
In an [__email exchange,__](http://photographyisnotacrime.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/isanybodydown-com-responds) Brittain called Randazza “a greasy fucking wop,” before insinuating that he would like to hire Randazza as an attorney.
This from a man who claims he already has a team of lawyers.
“I have two rules,” Randazza said in a telephone interview with Photography is Not a Crime Wednesday. “Pornography has to be between adults and it has to be voluntary.”
In the case of Is Anybody Down, it is most likely not voluntary considering its subhead states, “Unstoppable Nudes – Gives Us Your Nudes – Submit Nudes Anonymously.”
And it’s pretty evident there is no determining process to determine whether the subjects in the photos are adults, which is a federal crime, Randazza said.
Randazza, who is based out of Las Vegas and licensed in Nevada, California, Arizona and Florida and Massachusetts, is offering to represent anybody who wants their picture removed pro bono.
He has also received calls and messages from attorneys around the country willing to do the same in states he is not licensed in.
I’ve attempted to reach Brittain twice by telephone through the Colorado number that Randazza reached him at, but he is not answering nor does it go to voicemail.
However, Brittain has a business partner named Chance Trahan who called Randazza earlier today, accusing him of being a hypocrite because he defends Bang Bros but is now out to get them.
But Randazza points out that anybody who shows up in a Bang Bros video has signed forms consenting to the use of their images and videos.
“I’m not sure where they are getting their stuff from, but nobody consented to it being on that site and nobody consented to having their names and hometown listed,” he said.

Meanwhile, not a single one of Brittain’s attorneys has responded.
Brittain sent me the following statement since the article went up.
> “I have done nothing wrong or illegal, and I do not confirm nor acknowledge Mr. Randazza’s or Mr. Popehat’s patently false statements. I am acquiring representation through the proper channels.”
