A video surfaced on Facebook today showing a South Florida cop aggressively arresting a man, claiming the man had struck him with his car.
But the man’s wife, who is recording, is claiming that the Plantation police officer hit their car with his hand.
Nevertheless, it is a chaotic scene with the cop ordering the man to “put your hands behind your back” and “stop resisting,” but the man does have his hands behind his back and doesn’t appear to be resisting.
The man, in fact, appears to be in shock after having been pulled out of the car and thrown to the ground. And the man is trying his best from getting his face smothered into the pavement, which is usually a routine part of an arrest.
The cop doesn’t seem to know how to place handcuffs on a person, so he keeps blaming the man, but the man is attempting to follow the cop’s orders.
The video was posted by Alfreda Graham with the following description:
> Now it hits Broward County. All while his wife and kids ages 9, 7 and 3 are in the car. We need this to go viral before another life is loss. The officer claims that he hit him with his car he snatched him from his car and rough handled him saying that he was resisting, you be the judge. #JusticeForPat #Lordpleaseintervene #speedily
We will reach out to the Plantation Police Department for their version of the story.
