Video shows school employees did nothing to stop Miami-Dade cop Raymond Emilio Rosario from slapping his daughter in the face, grabbing her hair and beating her with a belt.
A woman sitting nearby hardly moves at all.
Rosario, 44, can be seen walking inside and picking up a belt already sitting on the counter before he begins shaking his daughter around, lashing her with the belt.
Eventually, his daughter, a crying 14-year-old, sits on the floor.
Rosario decided to beat the teen on March 19 after a teacher called him to tell him his daughter was being disrespectful in class.
It’s not clear whether or not he knew a security camera was recording.
Rosario was arrested on April 2 for child abuse after beating the teen on camera at the Pinecrest Cove Preparatory Academy.
Susie Dopico, the Pincrest Cove Preparatory Academy principal, didn’t explain why school employees did not intervene.
One of them appears to have a smirk on her face during the beating.
The school eventually reported the incident to Florida Department of Children and Families.
Records show Rosario surrendered to authorities for child abuse at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
Rosario is on paid leave while the Miami-Dade police investigate the incident.
