LOUISIANA COP ARRESTED FOR ORAL SEX WITH A MINOR

An officer with the Hammond Police Department (HPD) has been arrested and accused of sex crimes against a juvenile.

Brad Core, 44, of Hammond, La was arrested on Wednesday night after investigators obtained arrest warrants for Core. His own department requested the investigation, WAFB News reports.

Core is facing several charges that include sexual battery, oral sexual battery, carnal knowledge of a juvenile, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Hammond Police Chief James Stewart declined to comment on the case, noting that the investigation was conducted by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office at the request of HPD.

Core was a patrol officer who had been with the department for 16 years. Core resigned on Wednesday shortly after his arrest.

A spokeswoman for the department would not provide any details about the case for now, but the investigation is ongoing.

The sheriff's office had announced Tuesday that it was conducting an investigation involving a Hammond Police Department employee at the request of the police department. They did not reveal the nature of the investigation at that time.

The HPD and the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office were raided by the FBI in 2016 pursuant to a drug investigation.

Support our Mission

Help us build a database of bad cops

For almost 15 years, PINAC News has remained active despite continuous efforts by the government and Big Tech to shut us down by either arresting us for lawful activity or by restricting access to our readers under the pretense that we write about “social issues.”

Since we are forbidden from discussing social issues on social media, we have created forums on our site to allow us to fulfill our mission with as little restriction as possible. We welcome our readers to join our forums and support our mission by either donating, volunteering or both.

Our plan is to build a national database of bad cops obtained from public records maintained by local prosecutors. The goal is to teach our readers how to obtain these lists to ensure we cover every city, county and state in the country.

After all, the government has made it clear it will not police the police so the role falls upon us.

It will be our most ambitious project yet but it can only be done with your help.

But if we succeed, we will be able to keep innocent people out of prison.
