A San Diego County sheriff’s deputy arrested for groping a 14-year-old girl waiting in line at a Panda Express pleaded guilty to committing a lewd act with a minor September 3.

Timothy Wilson Jr., 33, was sentenced to a year in jail and ordered to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Wilson, who worked at the Vista Jail for 10 years, was arrested May 18 at his work place.

Then incident occurred around 7 p.m. on March 21 when restaurant surveillance video captured Wilson’s act before he hurried out of the restaurant and fled the scene in a black sedan.

The victim then reported to police that a man grabbed her buttocks as she waited in line.

Crime Stoppers issued a video to the media seeking help from the public with identifying the suspect on April 9.

On May 9, a sheriff’s department employee reported Wilson was possibly the man seen in security camera images, stating he resembled the man in the video, according to authorities.

Wilson then used his unique name and password in order to log in the sheriff’s department’s data base after he learned about the investigation, forwarding documents related to the investigation to his personal email address.

He was arrested on May 18 at around noon, booked into the Central Jail and placed on paid administrative leave.

San Diego Sheriff County Bill Gore said he was disappointed in Wilson’s actions.

“I am deeply disappointed with Mr. Wilson’s conduct but proud of the men and women of this department who do not tolerate criminal acts in the community or within their own ranks,” he said.

In addition to a year in jail, a judge sentenced Wilson to five years of probation and ordered him to stay away from the victim for 10 years.

Crime Stoppers asks the public to come forward if they have any information regarding this case or similar cases Wilson may have been involved in. Those with any information are encouraged to call the Sheriff’s Sexual Assault Unit at (858) 974-2316 or Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477 to report tips anonymously.

Support our Mission

Help us build a database of bad cops

For almost 15 years, PINAC News has remained active despite continuous efforts by the government and Big Tech to shut us down by either arresting us for lawful activity or by restricting access to our readers under the pretense that we write about “social issues.”

Since we are forbidden from discussing social issues on social media, we have created forums on our site to allow us to fulfill our mission with as little restriction as possible. We welcome our readers to join our forums and support our mission by either donating, volunteering or both.

Our plan is to build a national database of bad cops obtained from public records maintained by local prosecutors. The goal is to teach our readers how to obtain these lists to ensure we cover every city, county and state in the country.

After all, the government has made it clear it will not police the police so the role falls upon us.

It will be our most ambitious project yet but it can only be done with your help.

But if we succeed, we will be able to keep innocent people out of prison.
