Man on Life Support After Officer Throws him in Jail, then Choked at Hospital

Body cam footage released from the Burleson County jails shows Texas man Chester Jackson Jr. being shoved to the ground by a corrections officer following an arrest last month.

Jackson hit his head on the toilet, which can be seen in the video above.

Now he’s on life support.

But unanswered questions are becoming more clear as video from the jail and 911 audio recordings after he was arrested at the hospital trickle out.

Apparently, Jackson became agitated at the hospital, was given medication and placed in a chokehold, according to a recording of a 911 call from hospital staff, which was made public on May 30.

Jackson Jr. was arrested for public intoxication on Friday, April 19 near his home on a rural road by a Burleson County deputy.

Initially, no documentation, details, audio or video recordings of the arrest were being released.

After being taken into custody, Jackson was brought before the Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Robert Urbanosky and handed down a one-day sentence in county jail.

However, U.A. Lewis, Jackson’s attorney, said documentation from her client’s hearing, citation, guilty plea and case were “missing” from the system and officials in Burleson County were unable to locate any records of the arrest.

On April 20, Saturday, Chester Jackson Sr. received a phone call from the jail informing him that his son was being released from the county jail.

Jackson’s mother makes the trip, driving to the jail to pick up her son since his father is unable to make the trip.

Eddie Lee Wilson arrived at the jail within an hour and was greeted by two jail staff members who said her son had been released.

However, he would remain in custody because he was having “mental issues” and might be a danger to other members of the public, they said.

Wilson requested, but was declined a request to visit her son before she eventually left the jail without him.

At 11:23 p.m. body cam footage shows officers transferring Jackson from one cell to another.

Everything goes smoothly until he is moved to the second cell, where he becomes agitated.

In the video seen above, Jackson falls to the floor as a Caldwell police sergeant handles him inside of the cell.

A few seconds later, the sergeant can be seen on video pushing Jackson into the metal jail bed, which he bounces off before hitting his head against the metal toilet.

“Hey, you fell. You fell. I did not throw you,” the officer says to Jackson.

“Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!” an apparent good officer witnessing nearby can be heard saying.

Jackson’s family called the Burleson County Jail on Sunday, April 21, asking when they could pick up Jackson.

They are told his location is unknown.

Jackson’s family attorney says Jackson was transported to an Austin-area hospital by a Burleson County deputy on this day.

Help us build a database of bad cops

For almost 15 years, PINAC News has remained active despite continuous efforts by the government and Big Tech to shut us down by either arresting us for lawful activity or by restricting access to our readers under the pretense that we write about “social issues.”

Since we are forbidden from discussing social issues on social media, we have created forums on our site to allow us to fulfill our mission with as little restriction as possible. We welcome our readers to join our forums and support our mission by either donating, volunteering or both.

Our plan is to build a national database of bad cops obtained from public records maintained by local prosecutors. The goal is to teach our readers how to obtain these lists to ensure we cover every city, county and state in the country.

After all, the government has made it clear it will not police the police so the role falls upon us.

It will be our most ambitious project yet but it can only be done with your help.

But if we succeed, we will be able to keep innocent people out of prison.
